Steve Calderon

Coach Steve has almost 20 years instructing youth track and field athletes.  He has been associated with some of the largest, most accredited, and successful USATF coaches and teams Colorado has to offer producing countless State, Regional, and National Champions.  When he is not coaching in a team environment, he volunteers his time developing individual athletes representing some of the most prominent programs statewide. Anyone involved in USATF, whether it’s coaches, athlete’s, or parents likely know Coach Steve or at very least seen him working at meets encouraging all athletes irrespective of their team affiliation.  He has a passion for the sport that is contagious, a talent for working with youth athletes, and we are very happy to have him with AMATA.
